Fillings

When choosing to fill a cavity, there are two types of materials to consider. You can choose a more natural, tooth colored filling which is called a resin composite filling or you can have a silver amalgam filling. Resin composite fillings are strong and last many years and have a more natural look than silver amalgam fillings. Most people with the naked eye are unable to tell a resin composite filling from the natural tooth color.
