The month of February is Children's Dental Health Month. Valentine's Day and the sweet treats it brings is a good reminder for everyone to schedule dental exams for their children and themselves. The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends children have a first dental exam within six months of their first tooth since dental decay can start as soon as it erupts.
